SEYMOUR, SOUTHERN GOULBURN VALLEY - PART TIME MIXED

ATTENTION VETS SEEKING OUTSTANDING PART TIME JOB AND LIFESTYLE OPPORTUNITY!!! STOP SCROLLING AND READ THIS AD.

We are a 4 vet practice located in beautiful Central Victoria, surrounded by rivers, farmland, wineries and abundant outdoor activities.

Our practice is busy and the caseload is varied and will definitely keep you on your toes. We're predominantly small animals but to keep things interesting we mix it up with the odd sheep, goat or cattle call-out.

We have as much up to date equipment as you'll need, experienced and dedicated nurses, vets with a broad range of experience and interest, and even a drop-in-drop out ortho surgeon to fix up the really difficult ones.

We aim as high as possible in terms of standard of care- our strong belief is that country animals are entitled to the same level of treatment, care and follow-up as their city cousins. We're close enough to Melbourne that referral where needed is available and encouraged.

Our practice runs a total of four branches throughout the district- we try and get our vets to rotate around a bit because everyone enjoys a bit of a drive and change of scenery occasionally. But that's not essential by any means- if you'd prefer to stay in one place then we're happy to accommodate.

The position we're offering is flexible. Ideally, you're a vet with a few years experience in mixed practice, looking for permanent part-time work, about 3 days a week. One of our new branches is ripe and ready to take off so someone with a bit of drive and ambition to create momentum and really get things moving would be great. If you're thinking the odd large animal call is not enough to keep you interested- then come and join us and be The One to help try and grow that side of our business. Jump on the on-call roster and make a bit of extra cash. Change things that need to be changed. Have an impact and a meaningful job and career. Enjoy life in the country while you're doing it.

Oh and get paid obviously- above award, commensurate with experience, attractive package on offer etc etc- all the things you'd expect to read on an ad like this. Call us to discuss, we're pretty flexible in that regard.

Sound good? Please email CV to scvclinic@hotmail.com. Don't stress too much about cover letters and all that, just get in touch we'll be able to work out pretty quickly whether or not we like each other.

Looking forward to the flood of applications for Victoria's Most Attractive Vet Job- get in quick!

We understand the role that pets play in the family and we aim to treat all pets as our own and to treat clients the way we would want to be treated. Stemming from this, we actively encourage continuing education, and provide facilities that allow great medicine and surgery.

The choice to work in the veterinary and animal care industry is often motivated by a deep empathy and care for animals. Our mission, and implicitly our business is about giving our staff the best opportunity to provide this care.

Weekends and after-hours are shared evenly and there would be no more than one in five weekends and one in five Saturdays to be worked; with a rostered day off following a weekend for full-time vets. Shifts to be worked are usually 8.00am to 6.00pm or 9.00am to 7.00pm weekdays.

This is a fantastic area close to the snow and wine regions of north Victoria. It is a great area for outdoor activities such as water-skiing, hiking and bush walking, but also affords a wonderful regional life. Lots of great cafes and restaurants!
