Further information on the area:

Shepparton is a regional hub with a population of 30 000 in town and 60 000 in close proximity.  It takes 15 minutes to drive from one side of town to the other and you can live on affordable acreage and still be 10 minutes from the clinic.  There is an excellent Grammar school and Catholic schools as well as multiple state schools to choose from.  We have a La Trobe University Campus and Tafe.  There is a regional hospital in the centre of town as well as a private one next door.  The sport facilities are fantastic with something for everyone. There are >30 places to eat at in town with wineries /tourist destinations only a 30 minute drive away.  It is an easy day trip to the snow fields or to Melbourne.  We have plenty of sunshine and dry summers with average maximum temperatures of 31 degrees C in January and frosty Junes with average maximum of 13 degrees C.  But it is never too hot or cold for long as we experience the 4 seasons here with a Mediterranean climate.  Shepparton itself is flat which is great for bike riding but the snow fields and mountains are only 2 hours away.  The cost of living in this area is very low relative to the city which allows for a fantastic quality of life and we believe in plenty of time to be with family or explore or learn.
