The applicant must have excellent surgical and medical nursing capabilities, as well as strongly developed customer service and team leadership abilities. Proven animal handling ability, with a gentle and patient approach is essential. A strong work ethic and the desire and ability to work as part of a cohesive team is essential.

While this is primarily a nursing role, there will also be the need to assist with reception and boarding kennel duties at times. Some supervision of vet nursing student volunteers may also be required.
