MUNDARING, EAST OF PERTH - PART TIME SMALL ANIMAL

The next 2 sentences either make complete sense to you, or confuse you completely …………

You still love being a veterinarian and using your knowledge to help clients and pets. You find yourself feeling inclined – but also concerned – about going back to work as a vet (So if this rings a bell for you then ……. read on).

We are a small clinic – we aren’t a corporate clinic and we aren’t a large organisation with lots of staff who you will never get to know well (and we don’t aspire to ever be those things)

We need knowledge and skills on a part time basis – maybe 1 -2 days a week from somebody who wants to do vetting, but doesn’t want the pressure of meeting KPI’s or dealing with staff histrionics. Perhaps you have just sold your practice, or been a stay at home parent but now want to go back to the profession you still love, deep down.

Our clients need a vet like you who wants to use their skills and knowledge to provide practical, thorough diagnosis and treatment for the animal and effective communication to that client as to why this is the best way to help their pet.

You just want happy clients and healthy pets. So do we.

If you feel like chatting then you can call Michael (08)9295 6777 or 0466 553 432 or email to michael@pawsandclawsvet.com.au

Let’s face it, being a vet can be great. Want to go back to that sense of achievement and purpose that you once had?

FLOREAT, NORTH-WESTERN PERTH - FULL TIME SMALL ANIMAL New Position

Veterinarian – Small Animal

Rediscover your passion for healing and steer your own career. Join a friendly, positive team, committed to medical and surgical excellence in an empathetic and friendly environment.

About Us
The Floreat Vet is a long-established small animal clinic, which has recently changed ownership. We have the best of both worlds: a lovely clientele who adore their animals and genuinely appreciate the gold standard of care we provide, but with a fresh, dynamic approach to what that means.

We are growing our small team of three vets and five nurses, who are active in sharing knowledge and have a focus on continuous improvement in skills and practices. A good workplace culture with likeminded, positive individuals is important to us.

We have a superb, brand new fit-out which includes all the toys – Digital X-ray, IM3 Dental X-ray, Vet-Tome, Lutech anaesthetic monitoring, a fully equipped theatre, and a full Idexx in-house lab suite – but most importantly, we want to know what’s on your shopping list. Come and talk to us about what you’re excited to bring to us, to your patients, and to your Veterinary career.

About You
As a Veterinary professional with at least 3 years’ experience, you already have a good idea of the day-to-day requirements of being a great vet. You have a strong medicine and consultation focus – although surgical experience would also be beneficial – and can consistently work together with committed clients to work up cases to an exceptional standard.

You got into this industry because you know that medicine never stands still –you seek out challenges such as further education with a view to bettering yourself, and you expect the same from your team, who you will share knowledge and cases with to grow together.

You also know that you need to look after yourself. You look forward to a healthy work/life balance, so whilst you understand that the weekend hours get shared around, you also appreciate the perks of being close to emergency centres (no more ridiculous after-hours!).

How To Apply
To apply, please prepare a cover letter specifically highlighting why you think that this is an ideal role for you, together with an up-to-date resume, and email through to office@thefloreatvet.com
