REMUERA, INNER SOUTH-EAST AUCKLAND - FULL OR PART TIME SMALL ANIMAL New Position

Abbotts Way clinic in Auckland is looking for an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian on a part-time or full-time basis.

At Abbotts Way Veterinary Clinic, our goal is to deliver high levels of veterinary care and customer service whilst building strong and enduring relationships with our clients.

Being an established practice means that we have plenty of time to dedicate towards working up and researching cases and to provide the individual care and attention that our clients expect. Our clients are generally motivated and consider their pets to be family members. They are also loyal with a number of clients travelling from all over greater Auckland to come to us.

There are a broad range of skills across our current team and we are able to offer more advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, ultrasonography, echocardiography as well as the usual medical, surgical and dental services. CPD and the development of special interests are strongly encouraged, and we have a generous budget to support this.

A happy and cohesive team is important to us and we realise the importance of work-life balance these days. Our roster reflects this and there are no after-hours, Sunday or late-night shifts. Barring an emergency, there shouldn’t be any reason for late finishes.

We are currently looking for a Veterinarian to join our team and are flexible for someone looking to work 30 hours per week or full-time.

All our Vets get:

We’re well equipped with an Idexx in house laboratory, brand new state of the art ultrasound, digital (including dental) radiography, Smartflow patient management software plus two shiny new Bionet anaesthetic monitoring machines to boot. An endoscope is next on the list!

Our ideal candidate would share our passion for providing high-quality veterinary care and customer service and see the value in forming strong relationships with their clients and their team. They should also be looking to challenge and extend themselves each day in a relaxed and supportive environment. If you think this might be you, we’d love to hear from you!

If this sounds like the position for you, please contact Jwan Kattan, Recruitment Specialist on jwan.kattan@vet.partners or apply now.

WAIMATE, CANTERBURY - FULL TIME MIXED/DAIRY ANIMAL New Position

Veterinary Centre Waimate

Attention all recent grads! We are currently on the hunt for someone with the sound basics (ideally 2-5 years experience) who is now looking to extend themselves clinically and (with support) add some farm advisory to their skill set.

We will primarily be looking to hire someone who shows enthusiasm, a desire to be scientifically led, and a willingness to learn and work with current and future technology. With those three basics we can guide you the rest of the way!

The applicant would preferably be a grad who is comfortable enough with small animals to handle after-hours calls (with plenty of support) but wants to spend the majority of their time with large animals. It’s easy to promise the world with development and growth for the next part of your career. In this case we offer up the chance to chat to our recent grads to see if the job is a good fit for you. They will (hopefully) tell you that we put our money where our mouth is – we have a burning desire to help our young vets develop to a point where they can eventually oversee farms for themselves (both dairy and sheep and beef), as well as follow their passion areas.

Our team of 10 vets (amongst a wider practice of 36 vets) work out of a brand-new facility in the heart of a fantastically friendly town of 4,000 people in South Canterbury. If you are keen to join us then please forward your CV and cover letter to ryan@vet111.co.nz

If you wish to discuss the role further prior to applying then feel free to contact one of our team for a confidential discussion
