KAPITI COAST - SMALL ANIMALS

We are a modern, fun and friendly, professional practice with two branches on the beautiful Kapiti Coast, about 50mins north of Wellington. We need a permanent full-time Vet from November when one of our senior Vets leaves us for a mid-life OE.

The job will be based at our main branch, which is a purpose built clinic in Paraparaumu and is staffed by two full-time Vets and an assortment of part-timers with kids. We have a great team of qualified nurses and the craic is good.

We have the usual toys - ECG, doppler, ultrasound, in-house bloods - you know the drill.

We are ideally seeking someone with experience. We're happy to support Vets with specific areas of expertise or interest, or someone who is keen to work on developing new skills. We are equally keen to employ someone who has a good attitude to getting the job done, a pragmatic approach to Veterinary Science and someone who will add to our team.

The weather here is great (well, it's better than Wellington), there's a great community here, walking, surfing, sport, good schools, beaches and we are less than an hour from Wellington.

After hours is shared and not too onerous, and is well remunerated.
