coolangatta

Working at Coolangatta....you’ll need more time off!
Small Animal Practice
Southern Gold Coast, Qld

Something different……..

Want a lifestyle change on the southern Gold Coast, want to feel like you are on holidays all year?

Great beaches, great surfing, soak up the sunshine or enjoy the beautiful hinterland.

Ever thought it would be too good to be true to create your own awesome work roster? Well maybe it’s not, Coolangatta Vets is the most southern vet practice in Queensland with a purpose built hospital facility that is literally just a few hundred metres from some of Queensland best beaches, surfing and yeah….NSW, only a few hundred metres away (but don’t mention Origin!).

The hours are flexible and we are not kidding! Work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, 3 weeks on 1 week off or 2 months overseas…..all options are available!

The owner of the practice has recently taken over the business after a couple of years off, he has owned several large practices previously and wants to find a vet who would like to share the responsibility of the veterinary work load and have input into the running of the practice. That includes being engaging, and yes, being passionate about helping clients care for their pets. The hours can be from half to full time and with wages potentially well above average, you may not to need full time. Continued education all part of the package and open to negotiation. This job is not about working in a practice that wants to be the biggest or corporatized, but offering friendly service and compassionate care while achieving that work, life balance reward. There are a few options with this position and how things could work depending on the individual, including partnership or ownership options in a relatively short time frame if desired.

The practice has a good level of equipment and services small animals only, with no after hours as we utilise AES after hours services.
