ADELAIDE, ETHELTON - FULL OR PART TIME SMALL ANIMAL New Graduates welcome

PORT ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA  – FULL or PART TIME SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARIANRecent and New Graduates welcome to apply

We currently have a position available at our practice. It’s no secret that there are many practices looking for vets. I could tell you that we have fantastic facilities and equipment, a great team and lovely clients - all of this is true. Why would I ask you however to consider applying for this position?

Please click here to see photos! photos

Our facilities are just that – it’s our people, our team that give life to what we do. Every day we open our doors to care not only for our patients but for each other. We practice with the intention of making Port Adelaide Vet a compelling place to visit and to work. This is guided by three of our core values: care, service and shared responsibility.

Every team member has the opportunity to bring value, to grow and to become a part of something that we would consider to be exceptional within the industry.

We know that being a vet can be very stressful – with lots of competing demands that stretch both your emotional and physical energy. In our practice we have a high vet to support staff ratio. Our dedicated and trained reception nurses will talk through treatment costs with clients enabling you to do what you are passionate about – treating your patients.

Because in life we should aspire to work to live and not live to work, you will work the equivalent of 4 out of 7 days. There are no after hours and we do not consult on a Sunday. You will also enjoy 5 weeks of paid annual leave in addition to 1 week of study leave at the completion of your first year of service.

Salaries for veterinarian are not considered as attractive as comparable professions and in particular the medical profession. Likely money was not your primary motivation for becoming a vet. This being said however, we remunerate generously and at least 5% above what you are currently being paid in recognition that being a vet requires performing at a high level.

Because we would like you to enjoy your additional annual leave, you will also receive a gift of a $5000 bonus at the end of your first year of service.

If you like the opportunity to become a part of our passionate team, you're welcome to contact me, Shaun Scheepers  at shaun.scheepers@portadelaidevet.com.au or 0407 975 899 for a confidential discussion.
