SYDNEY E, DOUBLE BAY - FULL TIME SMALL ANIMAL New Position

Vet HQ is looking for a Vet

100% job satisfaction (maybe 90%)

Not an ordinary vet. One who can fit in to this crazy, opinionated, sometimes improper group of people. You must be able to communicate, laugh, cry, laugh again but most importantly you must have passion for what you do. You will be replacing an awesome vet who is stupid enough to want to go back to the UK.

36-40 hr week averaged over 5 week roster. One full weekend in 5. One half Saturday in 5. All the other bells and whistles of a great vet practice.

Please email me geoff@vethq.com.au or message me or I don’t know ESP me. Don’t use emojis - I hate them.

Looking forward to exceeding my inbox limit.

INNER WEST SYDNEY - SMALL ANIMALS New Position

Concord Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full time veterinarian with more than 3 years experience who will fit well into our busy small animal practice in the Inner West of Sydney. CVH currently employs 4 veterinarians, a hospital manager, six veterinary nurses and three veterinary students.

The position would be well suited to a candidate with a strong medicine and consultation focus, although surgical experience would also be beneficial (any vets who do not wish to do surgery are welcome to apply). We are looking for a veterinarian who can proficiently perform consultations and manage hospital cases to an exceptional standard – with excellent communication skills. Further education, especially in the field of medicine, will be fully supported.

Concord Veterinary Hospital is unique in that we perform a significant amount of feline welfare work, we are proudly family owned and operated (come and work for a REAL veterinary practice where you will be treated as a human being and not as a KPI) and are an integral part of the wider Concord community. Concord Veterinary Hospital is not simply just a ‘vet clinic’ – we set ourselves apart by providing an excellent standard of veterinary medicine, surgery and providing a continuity of care to our patients and communicating effectively with our clients. We are a patient focused practice where our patients come first above all else.

We are looking for a veterinarian who will not only fulfil the requirements listed below but will align with the mission statement which is to “provide a high level of personalised, compassionate and consistent veterinary care to all of our patients thereby fulfilling our patients and clients’ needs”. We are after a veterinarian who will “wow” us and in turn, integrate well into our practice and will “wow” our great clients.

Our ideal candidate for this position will:

Concord Veterinary Hospital has two consulting rooms, a dedicated treatment room/hospital room, isolation facilities, a separate surgery and dedicated surgical recovery room. We are equipped with new wireless digital x-ray, a My Lab 5 ultrasound machine, IM3 Dental machine, IM3 Vet Tome, digital dental x-ray, blood pressure monitoring, two anaesthetic machines, IV pumps, blood transfusion equipment, ophthalmic equipment (tonometry, indirect ophthalmology, vorotek) and IDEXX Procyte and Catalyst in-house blood machines. We are fully computerised with Vetlink software.

There is no after-hours work. Weekend work is shared equally between all veterinarians and the candidate will likely work one in two weekends (we are closed on Sundays!). Salary is above award, commensurate with experience and will be generous for the right candidate.

NEWPORT, SYDNEY'S NORTHERN BEACHES - FULL OR PART TIME SMALL ANIMAL, SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE New Position

FULL TIME/PART TIME POSITION - Sydney Animal Hospitals Newport

Sydney Animal Hospitals, Sydney's largest, non-corporate, family owned practice group, are looking for a full time vet to join our team to allow one of our vets to take a break from practice.

Our rapidly growing practices in Newport and Avalon on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney need a new team member. We are looking for a compassionate, experienced Veterinarian (minimum 2 years) with good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a great team at our Newport Hospital.

We strive to provide both exceptional patient care and great customer service.

This is what our clients have to say about us:
"I can highly recommend this vet! The staff is so nice, professional and knowledgeable. When we brought in our little dog to get de-sexed, they took such good care of him. We had to go back several times for a little check up on the wound and later to get the stitches removed. All the front desk ladies I met are so polite and outstanding at their job. They could all answer any of the questions I asked them and knew exactly what was happening with my dog without even having to look up his file on the computer. Similar, the two vets I talked to were both highly qualified and knowledgeable. At this place, I could really feel that the people working here truly love their job and my dog's health and happiness was their top priority"

"I highly recommend Sydney Animal Hospitals Newport. My partner and I recently took our kitten to get vaccinated and microchipped. Being avid dog lovers, this was uncharted waters for us. But, we felt completely comfortable in the hands of Dr Ben Brown, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The practice has great facilities and easy parking for clients. Definitely a positive experience and will be back."

This is what our vets have to say about us:
"I would like to thank you both, and the entire staff, for everything that you have done for me over the last two and a half years. I have thoroughly enjoyed working for Sydney Animal Hospitals, and feel very fortunate to have been able to work along side such a great team. I would particularly like to thank you, Ben, for all the support and guidance you have offered me; you are an extremely talented veterinarian whose skills I respect and look up to. I have loved my time working in the Northern Beaches, together with all the clients and their pets that I have had the privilege to help. While I am obviously excited about the new challenges ahead, Sydney Animal Hospitals is a unique team, whom I will miss enormously. I wish you all every success; should there be a position available in the future, I would love to work with the team again."

COLLAROY PLATEAU, SYDNEY NORTHERN BEACHES - FULL OR PART TIME SMALL ANIMAL New Position

Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet

Wanted – New hooman slave

I am Butternut. I have two hoomans. They don’t feed me enough and have got me on this ridiculous thing called a ‘diet’. I don’t really care what their names are, but I’m pretty sure the other slaves refer to them as Caroline and Lewis. I’m not sure how I feel about Lewis, but Caroline rescued me, so I have to pretend to like her, although she does feed me. These days their level of neglect for me has reached a new high; I meow away and scratch at their legs, but they keep telling me “not now Butternut, we’re too busy”. So, I am demanding a new slave to make sure they have enough time to feed me.

‘My’ business is a small animal family practice so fitting in with the other hoomans is the most important characteristic. If you are good at this whole vet thing and can ensure I get fed, them maybe I want to meet you. Maybe. Just maybe. Now where is that wet food you promised me?
