DERBYSHIRE, CHESTERFIELD - MIXED PRACTICE - 4 DAY WEEK New Position

We are a friendly mixed practice on the edge of the Peak District National Park who would love another vet to join our 9-vet team.

We are a fun and social practice that encourages a great work/life balance. Our team enjoy a range of outdoor activities outside of work, such as horse riding, rock climbing, mountain biking and fell running, plus there are ample opportunities for social gatherings at local pubs and team bonding nights out.

Busy companion animal surgery with some equine and farm work and all vets are happy to provide support for our colleagues at any time.

We work a four-day week with 1 in 3 Saturdays and 1 in 6 full weekends (ooh only from Saturday evening) and 1 night on call every week.

Offering a competitive salary with generous on-call bonus paid per case seen. Substantial CPD allowance with further development into chosen areas encouraged.

Large Animal/Mixed Practice Vet Opportunities – Deveron, Turriff - Aberdeenshire

Opportunities for a Vet with Mixed Practice or Large Animal caseload interest.  4 day working week with a share of OOH, offering time off in lieu! Both Vet and Senior Vet opportunities available. Can offer Full & Part Time working options. 

If you're a Mixed Animal Vet or Vet with specific interest in Large Animal, you will enjoy working with our amazing team at Deveron Veterinary Practice. We are a first opinion mixed practice. 60/40 Small / Large split offering some Equine.

We offer a friendly and supportive environment to work within. You can have the opportunity to travel to multiple sites and gain all-round expertise. We are a well-established two site practice equipped with modern facilities such as an in house laboratory, endoscopy and radiography (in house and state of the art mobile radiography for equine). Based in rural Aberdeenshire, ideal for outdoor pursuits including skiing, surfing, riding, golf and hill walking, we have an excellent and experienced team of vets, qualified nurses and reception staff who will support you in your role. 

We also have a requirement for a Senior Vet. This could suit a vet with experience that would like to continue their clinical work whilst also having some involvement in the running of the practice and the mentoring of the team (with support).  You might already be in a senior vet role, or you might be looking for the next step in your career.

This is a full time position working 4 days per week (8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.) The rota consists of a 1:4 share of OOH work. We offer a full day off for weekend / on call work.
