Full Time Veterinary Surgeon

Leicester Central Vets4Pets are looking forward to welcoming a new Vet into their growing team. Situated on the busy Leicester Centre, the practice is just 5 minutes from the railway and coach station. Free onsite parking is also available.

The team are proud to offer a working environment that is bright and spacious. It has a modern operating theatre, digital xray machine, ultrasound, inhouse Idexx machine,capnographs, diathermy, orthopedic equipment to conduct procedures such as TTA and ESF.

Being in the city centre we see a wide range of cases from routine to emergency work, without the OOH requirement! Moderate amount of charity rescue work is also carried out, allowing for a true variety of work.

The practice has built incredibly strong relationships with patients and clients, therefore key to being successful in this role will be your client care abilities.

You will have good all-round veterinary skills and demonstrate excellent communication skills. We offers a generous CPD allowance and encourage progression, with the study towards certificates supported and funded. As the practice is a Joint Venture practice there is no restrict list on medication, hence full clinical freedom is on offer. The fully qualified and experienced nursing staff are available to assist you in your cases. Experienced vets are able to assist you in working up your cases, for case discussion and assistance in complex cases.

The role is for full time hours, to include a 1 in 2  and a half weekend rota. There will be some sole charge responsibility with a supportive nursing team on offer, but no OOHs ensuring a healthy work/life balance.

Cinque Ports Vets, originated from a traditional mixed practice in Rye, Sussex in 1930 and has gone on to grow in to a well-established veterinary practice with 6 branches across Kent and East Sussex. The Role

We are looking for experienced vets to join our 6-vet, 6-RVN team at our RCVS Accredited Hospital. One candidate would ideally be a surgery certificate holder but we are happy to support a candidate considering working towards one or who has a strong interest in surgery.

No OOH and a 4 day (40 hour) week provides a great opportunity for a good work-life balance. Shared Saturday only (2-in-6) rota working alongside another vet. 15 minute consultations.
