Allpets is a 2 site independent practice in NW London. We are near excellent transport links to all areas of London We are looking for a colleague to join us as a 3rd vet on a permanent/long locum role.

We are also looking for a locum from January to End March incl while David has a long earned break in NZ with family.

Monday to Friday 9am-7pm with a 2 hour break 2-4, Saturday (half day) rota. No OOH.

We are well equipped with digital Xray and Ultrasound; we have excellent friendly support staff and a good client base.

Our hospital is supported by our 3 branches and is fully equipped with CT scanner, 6 anaesthetic stations, Laparoscopic kit, ECG, ultrasound, Digital X-ray, fibre optic endoscopes and a dental suite allowing our staff to consistently deliver high quality diagnostic and surgical patient care.

We have a dedicated team of 14 vets, 13 nurses and 13 receptionists who as a team provide an excellent support network and pride themselves in delivering clinical excellence to all. We also value the success and development of our staff and fully support and encourage a diverse range of CPD opportunities aimed at developing the team’s clinical interests including certificates with currently 3 colleagues studying towards cert in Medicine and Surgery.

This is a full time position with no out of hours.

Equine Stud Vet required for Maternity Cover Position

B & W Equine Vets require an experienced equine vet to join our stud team in Willesley, Gloucestershire for the 2021 season, from 1st March to 1st September (dates have a degree of flexibility). The candidate will be capable of all aspects of artificial insemination, breeding mare management, reproduction emergencies and first opinion foal medicine. The caseload will predominantly involve sports horse breeding with a small amount of thoroughbred breeding and general equine ambulatory work. Support will be available from three experienced stud vets, including a diplomate and a certificate holder as well as a wider ambulatory team.

The role can be full time, on a compressed hour working pattern with two half days off per week, but also offers the flexibility of being ¾ time with full contribution to the out of hours rota. The out of hours rota is 1-in-4 full weekends with one weeknight per week. Some additional rota’d Saturday morning cover is also required with time in lieu in return. B & W Willesley promotes sustainable working for stud vets.

B & W Willesley has an onsite reproduction laboratory, stallion collection facilities, embryo transfer recipient herd and frozen semen store. Willesley offers OPU, embryo transfer, embryo freezing, semen collection and processing, alongside all routine stud services. The nearby B & W Breadstone referral hospital offers further facilities (CT, MRI, Bone scan, surgical suites) and expertise in the form of diplomates in surgery, internal medicine, imaging and dentistry.

We are looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon with interests in both consulting and surgery. We work in a supportive team environment and encourage and support you to develop your own interests. We have lots of equipment including ultrasound, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, endoscopy and tonometry and have an in house blood machine in every surgery. Our full time vets work a 4 day week plus a share of weekends and out of hours work. We don’t expect our vets to work nights & days at the same time.

We are a large practice situated in beautiful mid Cornwall, close to the Eden Project with plenty of beautiful beaches and coastline nearby. We have five small animal surgeries and a large animal department. Two of our surgeries have ISFM silver cat friendly status and all of our surgeries have General Practice RCVS Practice Standards status. We have excellent 24 hour nursing care at our Lostwithiel Hospital and are proud to provide our own out of hours service to our clients and pride ourselves on offering a high standard of patient and client care. We are a friendly team and have several certificate holders across the group.

We are looking for a Vet with experience who is looking to increase their case responsibility. The right applicant will be confident with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Developing client bonds and case continuity is very important in this role. There is clinical freedom to work up your own cases and the caseload would support studying towards a certificate.
