Due to practice growth, we are looking forward to welcome a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. Days and hours of work can be flexible with working alongside an equal share of out of hours duties not exceeding 1:4 weekends and 1 night duty per week. Time off in lieu is given retrospectively.

We are looking for a nurse who are friendly, confident and who can provide exceptional care to our clients and patients alike. We are a very supportive team who will help you ensure high clinical standards are met and confidence is given in assisting and developing our student veterinary nurses. Depending on experience we can offer a salary range between £21,000 - £27,000 basic pay per annum with overtime and duties worked paid on top.

We are a small animal, 1st Opinion, Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital in Devon. We have 2 operating theatres, self-contained dental suite, imaging suite, separate cattery, kennels and isolation wards with Gold standard ISFM cat friendly accreditation. We also have an internal lab, pharmacy and 5 consult rooms with separate dog and cat waiting areas. Our excellent facilities allow our clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated focus of providing high clinical standards. The successful candidate will be RCVS registered. We are looking for someone who will maintain a high standard of inpatient care, assist with surgical procedures and guide and support student veterinary nurses. Job Vacancy - Registered Veterinary Nurse

We have successfully filled the position for our previously advertised maternity cover, however another position has arisen due to one of our RVN’s spreading her wings and heading off to work abroad.

The role will be full time position of a 40 hour week, plus 1 in 5 Saturday mornings

Working hours will be a shift pattern consisting of an 8 hour day between 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday
No OOH or Sundays

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is essential, mixed practice experience a bonus

Recent graduates welcomed

Full driving licence required as there can be requirement to work in other branches

About us:
Conanvet is a busy, RCVS accredited, independent mixed practice. We are located 20 minutes north of Inverness in Conon Bridge, with smaller branches in Fortrose, Ullapool and Gairloch. Our clinical team consists of 12 vets, 7 RVNs and a full support team including student nurses and VCAs. We are also an RCVS approved training practice.
