We are based in a well-equipped, purpose-built surgery with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, ECG, endoscope/video gastroscopes.

The position would involve varied responsibilities and being able to use the nursing skills you trained for such as theatre, medicine, dental, x-ray and laboratory nursing including a variety of nurse clinics and puppy socialisation classes.

This may suit a nurse with a particular interest in pursuing a Cert or Diploma.

CPD is encouraged and funded, with an excellent rota of 1:4 Saturday mornings and no on call.

Milan Veterinary Practice, Isle of Man (posted 4th February) Full Time Vet Nurse

We are looking for a full time veterinary nurse to join our mixed practice on the Isle of Man. We are an eight vet mixed practice, with a team of four full time and two part time nurses, supported by 1 kennel assistant, as well as a reception team.

Our clinic is fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasonography, in house Idexx lab equipment and anaesthetic monitoring machine. Our nurses are fully involved in inpatient care.

The role will be full time (37.5 hour week), including 1 in 2 Saturday mornings. On call is 1 night per week, 1 weekend in 6 and 2 bank holidays per year. On call is generally quiet. There may be some reception work required as cover during busy times.
