SYDNEY'S LOWER NORTH SHORE - INTERNSHIPS - SURGERY OR MEDICINE New Positions

Veterinary Internships – 6 x Positions - 3 x Surgical and 3 x Medicine Teams

Where:

Last year, The Economist’s annual liveability ranking, saw Sydney reached its highest-ever ranking and was ranked as the world’s third most liveable city. This came as no surprise to us; we know Sydney as an amazing place to live and work! Sydney offers the best balance of environment and cultural delights, and it has a wonderful climate. With stunning beaches and sea pools, plus surrounding bushland, it’s heaven on earth for outdoor types.

Culture is also well catered for, where venues such as the globally renowned Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Theatre Company and the Art Gallery of NSW offer a huge choice of entertainment. The city’s many multicultural and arts festivals and open-air events complement these established institutions.

Then, of course, there’s the food. Sydney dwellers can enjoy a different cuisine every night. From feasting on the many varieties of Asian cuisine to fabulous Italian eateries, modern Australian cuisine and everything in between.

In early 2019 we moved to a brand-new state of the art, purpose-built facility. We have full in-house laboratory facilities, comprehensive diagnostic imaging including 2 ultrasound rooms, digital X-ray, a 128 Slice GE CT scanner and are planning for an MRI installation in 2020. BROADMEADOW, NEWCASTLE, NSW - FULL TIME INTERNSHIPS x 3New Graduates welcome

Veterinary Internships

We are excited to announce that we have decided to give an early boost to the start date for 3 veterinary internship positions!

Per the below internship description, we are currently accepting applications for 2020.  HOWEVER, we have decided to open up an early opportunity.

This means you will work simultaneously with our 2 current interns who are already halfway through their program.

As they begin to merge into greater independent emergency responsibilities, this early position will allow you to slot in under the guidance of our referral and specialist veterinarians.

To have our current interns present for the first few months as part of your support team, is a significant advantage over the 2020 program.

When applying for the position, please make it clear that you are applying for this boosted 2019 position

Please see below for more details regarding the position.  Applications will be considered from veterinarians who may not have any emergency experience. But as this is a well supported program, we will also consider applications from brand new graduates who have a willingness to jump in and learn.
