We have an exciting leadership opportunity available at our Greencross Hyde Park clinic in Townsville for a full time Practice Manager.
We are looking for an effective and energetic team leader who is ready to drive our business forward using dynamic team leadership and strong operational skills.
Greencross Veterinarians are a national network of clinics that practice veterinary medicine and surgery to the highest clinical standard supported by our service orientated team. Greencross Hyde Park is a multi Vet, Small Animal clinic providing top quality patient care in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing the day to day operations of running our clinic
- Leading our team and communicating with a confident and positive ‘go getter’ attitude
- Driving our business forward by creating plans through interpreting monthly trends using KPI’s and financial reports
- Delivering outstanding service and care to all patients and owners
- Caring, handling and cleaning all animals
- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
The ideal candidate will major in the following skills:
- Strong leadership & team building skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience in team management
- Experience as a Vet Nurse (Cert II minimum)
- Proven background in HR & Administration
- Compliance with Company Policies, Procedures and our “Best standards of care”.
- Exceptional organisation skills with the ability to identify, plan or provide coaching for your team members
