Port Adelaide Veterinary Clinic, North West Adelaide, SA (posted 17th May) Practice Manager

port adelaide logo

Full Time Practice Manager

Hi, I’m Lisa Scheepers, Business Manager for Port Adelaide Veterinary Clinic.

This is our story…

In the heart of Port Adelaide, there is a veterinary clinic that stands out from all the rest.

This is not just a place where animals are treated. Every day, the dedicated team at Port Adelaide Vet opens their doors not only to care for their patients and clients, but also to support one another.

The clinic's vision is clear: to be a place that people love to visit and where they are proud to work. Each team member has the chance to bring value, grow professionally, and become part of something truly special.

Guided by core values and a strong sense of purpose, the team operate by their principles every day.

The heart and soul of this clinic are its people who are always ready to give and receive constructive feedback. They believe that obstacles are merely opportunities in disguise and thrive on the challenges that come their way.

In this vibrant environment, a new role has opened up—a role that is far from average.

Port Adelaide Vet is searching for a Full-Time Practice Manager, someone who can rally people around them, get tasks and teams moving, and see obstacles as stepping stones to success.

We need an "Impact Player" - someone who makes a big, positive difference. This person takes the initiative, solves problems, adapts to change, and delivers results. They support their team and help make work easier for everyone.

This role is perfect for someone who has the desire not just to do the job but to do the job that needs to be done.

This person has the knack for moving things across the finish line, learning, and adapting to change, and making the demands of work feel lighter for the entire team. They are a leader and a follower, someone who gets stuff done and inspires others to do the same.

As the Practice Manager, this individual plays a pivotal role in the clinic, ensuring that every day runs smoothly and that both the staff and the patients feel valued and cared for.

Prior experience in a managerial role is important to underpin tasks like team development and performance, managing the financial health of the business and implementing and executing the 120 Day pan.

The roster is flexible, with some Saturday mornings included, offering a balance that suits both the clinic's needs and the manager's life.

Port Adelaide Vet extends an open invitation to those who are curious and want to find out more.

You are encouraged to call or text Lisa Scheepers on 0400 281 293 for a confidential discussion, or to send your resume directly to her email: lisa.scheepers@portadelaidevet.com.au

The team is excited to meet someone who shares their passion and is ready to join them.
