The role

We are offering a 12-month Vet Tech Internship at our Jindalee Hospital.

The successful Vet Tech graduate will rotate through the specific fields of Surgery and Internal Medicine. This is a fulltime training position which will create the opportunity for the Intern to gain real life experience, to enhance and hone their skills and knowledge and to further their careers in Veterinary Nursing.

Our learning program includes, but is not limited to, urinary catheter care, blood collection, clinical pathology, nutrition, restraining techniques, surgical patient preparation, surgical anaesthesia. Medical procedures such as MRI, advanced radiology, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy and CT.

All of this and more is delivered in our purpose built facilities, in a fully supported environment by our most senior nurses and experienced Veterinary Specialists, with a focus on Gold standard excellence in nursing and patient care.

The person
