Business: Brisbane Bird and Exotics Veterinary Service

Location: Greenslopes

Status: Full Time - 4 day week

About us:

We are a privately-owned boutique and well-respected veterinary practice boasting 21 staff in total. Our staff are all committed to providing the best level of care for our patients and our clients appreciate this. We do not tolerate bullying or disrespectful behaviour by any member of the public and we will terminate relationships with clients or carers who do not align with our standards of self-care and conduct. We champion the mental health and wellbeing of those who work within our walls.

Cross training is hugely important to us, and a large focus of our time goes into the training and development of our junior and senior members. Due to our unique environment, we are fully staffed.

About the opportunity:

Working alongside our Practice Principal, the Practice Manager will be relied upon to streamline and improve clinic function, lead change, drive staff development and manage client feedback. We have a Head Nurse and Lead Receptionist so as Practice Manager, you will be well supported in your role. We understand that a managerial position covers many bases, and we support appropriate task delegation to our other leaders and team. This is a great opportunity for an established Practice Manager looking for a new environment or for an experienced Senior Receptionist/Nurse with the right mix of skillsets and drive.

We support a 4-day working week, which means you have more time to pursue your hobbies. This role has the option to WFH 1-day each week, with your remaining 3-days onsite. You will be providing front-of-house care to our clients and pending your prior experience, you will be adopted into the nursing aspects of the clinic.
