The Full-time position currently includes working 33-38 hours a week, or for candidates seeking a part time position up to 20 hours a week.

The right candidate will be at the core of a team of vet nurses and vets – each member of the team is essential for the hospital to provide the high standard of customer and patient care that we promise to our clients. This is primarily a cat-caring position although retail and administration work such as taking bookings and answering phone calls may be required on days our bookings manager is not at work. Great interpersonal skills and an excellent phone manner are a must.

The weekdays required on shift are negotiable for the right person. The applicant must be flexible and has to be able to do every second Saturday and Sunday and also some public holidays (including Christmas Day & Easter).

We are looking for a superior veterinary chemotherapy nurse interested in joining us on a part-time basis. Oncology is led by internal medicine at VSOS, with additional external oncology support from the Veterinary Oncology Consultants where required. We encounter a variable and challenging caseload. Our oncology nurses forge strong bonds with the patients and their owners and play an important role in improving and extending the quality of life for these animals. All interested and eligible candidates must have the ability to provide the gold standard level client and patient care we are widely recognised for.
