The position involves a mixture of private practice and, via our longstanding affiliation with the Cat Protection Society of NSW – shelter medicine and surgery. A full Cat Protection Society rescue wing runs alongside the private hospital giving us great opportunities to perform procedures the majority of small animal clinics do not perform, as well as exposure to unique and complex medical cases.
Our team culture is very important to us and we take mental health very seriously. We hire for a great team fit first, and clinic skills second.

About You:
We are looking for a passionate Medicine Nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work. We are looking for a nurse with the following skills:
- A keen interest in Internal Medicine and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey
- An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in general anaesthesia & ventilation is desirable but not essential. A training program will be developed for the right person to support their ongoing learning and development
- Confidence working in an extremely busy environment
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
