Waverley Gardens Veterinary Hospital, SE Melbourne (posted 30th June) Client Care Nurse
Love being a vet nurse… but feel more energised working with people than out the back?
Do you light up when you're at the front and in the consult room, connecting with pet owners and making their visit smoother, calmer, and more personal?
Want a role that combines your nursing skills with your natural gift for communication?
If you're nodding — keep reading.
I'm Quyen, and our little clinic, Waverley Gardens Vet, is growing.
We're looking for a Client Care Nurse — a Cert IV qualified vet nurse with at least 4 years' experience — to join our team in a full-time, client-facing role with all heart.
This role is perfect for someone who loves being a vet nurse, but finds the most joy in connecting with people, guiding clients through their pet's care, and being the calm, capable link between the front and back of the clinic.
You'll be doing a bit of everything:
- Coordinating the front desk and reception area
- Supporting in consults and handling patients
- Explaining treatment plans and follow-ups
- Helping manage bookings and workflow
- Using your clinical knowledge to help clients feel confident in caring for their pets
You'll be supported by a kind, experienced team who want to see you thrive — and yes, we'll always appreciate your attention to detail and the calm energy you bring.
This is a full-time role, including every Saturday, with flexibility built into your weekday roster.
We offer above-award pay based on your experience and what you bring to the team — because we know what it's like to feel undervalued, and that's not how we do things here.
We're not just looking to fill a gap at reception.
We're looking for someone who wants to grow, who cares deeply, and who wants to belong.
So if that sounds like you — give me a call or text on 0435 228 996 for a friendly, confidential chat or send your resume to waverleygardensvet@gmail.com.
If it's the right fit, I think we'll both know.
