Hampton Park Veterinary Hospital, South-East Melbourne (posted 9th May)
Veterinary Nurse - Full Time
Feel like all you do is mop floors and clean..?
Wonder whether there is more for you in your career as a Vet Nurse..?
What if you had the opportunity to not only use the skills you have but grow them more..?
Hi, I'm Dr Cameron, the owner of Hampton Park Vets...
And I'm looking for an experienced Vet Nurse to join our small team.
I'm such a strong believer in the value Vet Nurses bring to a practice...
In fact, a Vet like me can't function without the high level support of a nurse.
Equally, I'm all too familiar with the challenges that Vet Nurses have in their day to day...
Things like...
Feeling like glorified cleaners...
Not getting the opportunities to fully use all their skills...
Having to deal with challenging clients, emotional situations and the odd grumpy Vet...
Not to mention the issues of career progression and salaries.
So, I want to offer the right Vet Nurse an opportunity to experience something different...
Think...
- The opportunity to use all your skills. In this role you will rotate between medical, surgical and consult nursing...
- The opportunity to grow your skills. VCNA membership is covered and we expect to be supporting your CPD!
- The opportunity to be a Vet Nurse without the "baggage" of those tasks that really bring you down...
- The opportunity for career growth (this can be a leadership role in the future)...
And enjoy being paid well over "industry" norms!
Of course, I have list of all the attributes my ideal Vet Nurse would have but I'm not going to bore you with it...
I'd really prefer to meet with you, get to know you and understand what you are looking for in your next career move!
So, if you are Cert IV qualified (or an equivalent) and looking for a full time position with no on call or after hours...
AND you like what you hear so far and you are keen to take some steps forward in your career...
Then let's chat!
Send me an email at: application@hamptonparkvets.com.au and tell me a little about yourself...
We can make a time for a call and if the opportunity is worth exploring further we can go from there.
