ROSEWOOD, WESTERN IPSWICH - MIXED, MAINLY SMALL ANIMAL New Graduates welcome New Position

Are you the veterinarian for us or are we the clinic for you?

Come and join an exciting and fun team at Rosewood Veterinary Service in semi-rural Rosewood, Ipswich. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time or casual, have experience or are just starting out as a new graduate, we’re keen to talk to you. We are new graduate friendly with our most recent graduate still with us after 2 years. We offer a supportive environment that encourages skill development and growth in the industry.

Like the other clinics listed, we also have a position for a veterinarian. Unlike some of those listed, we are a family-owned and operated practice. We are a very busy clinic but don’t let that scare you off. We are a supportive team of five full-time experienced vets with a team of very capable, skilled professionals aiding us. Our workload is approximately 90% small animal and 10% large animal. There is some weekend work but there is no afterhours, no sole charge and our work week generally won’t exceed 38 hours.

We have a lot of fancy equipment and are not afraid of buying more if they will benefit the care of our patients. We have ultrasounds and digital radiography available. We also have an in-house progesterone, IDEXX chemistry analysis and TCI (transcervical insemination) equipment. We have CO2 monitoring, pulse oximeters, humidicribs and multiple fluid pumps just to name a few.

If you feel we could be the fit for you or would like further information, please contact or send your CV and cover letter to Brendan at bscheiwe@hotmail.com.

COOMBABAH, GOLD COAST - SMALL ANIMAL sponsorship available

Join our Fun and Friendly team at Happy Paws Vet!

Happy Paws Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal clinic located in the northern end of the Gold Coast, opened in 2017 by Dr Vanessa.

"My why: Since graduating in 1999 I worked in a variety of independently owned and corporate practices throughout Canada, the UK and Australia, but never found the practice of my dreams. I dreamt of a clinic where 30 minute consultations were standard in order to deliver exceptional care and service, be thorough and still have enough time to develop a relationship with the clients. A clinic where the team culture was fun and positive - based on respect and integrity, where I would work alongside people who share a true passion for our industry and enjoy coming to work, where mistakes were viewed as learning opportunities and feedback was frequent and welcomed. In 2017, I decided that since I hadn't found this nirvana, I would create it! Nearly 8 years on, not only has my dream become my reality in Happy Paws, but the clinic has also become bigger and better with a recently completed expansion! Now we are looking for another like-minded veterinarian to join myself, Dr Tiana and our amazing support team in keeping the dream going!" Dr Vanessa Escott

But don't just take my word for it! Here are a few things Dr Tiana said when asked what her favourite things about working here are:

"- The team & culture of the clinic is unmatched
- Scheduling is fantastic - time for call backs & catch ups, multiple save for the day booking slots to allow for emergencies or on the day calls
- Clients are well trained: rarely getting walk ins who demand to be seen; understand the importance of monitoring bloodwork & regular checks; value our work and often express their gratitude towards us
- Having actual relationships with clients who value our recommendations
- The support staff - so incredibly competent and confident they are always making my day so much easier & can put all my trust in them
- No double bookings, no "we'll squeeze this one in", no end of day surprise appointments before we close
- Up to date toys/equipment & a flashy clinic are nice but nothing compares to this team ☺"

BEAUDESERT, SCENIC RIM - MIXED OR SMALL ANIMAL ONLY

HoofnPaws & Veresdale Equine Vets
Morningside Holdings P/L ATF The Bartholomeusz Family Trust

Experienced or Recent Graduate Vet Opportunity - Mixed (Full-Time) OR Small Animal Only (Part-Time 2-3 days per week)

Are you an experienced or a recent grad?

Have a love for horses and small animals?

Imagine continuing your career in mixed practice without having to live in the middle of nowhere?

Hi, I'm Dr Dave. I learnt a very valuable lesson when I graduated back in 1980...
I had my heart set on being a small animal surgeon...
But got offered a job in a mixed practice in the middle of nowhere!
Whilst I thought my future was all mapped out, I took the leap of faith and started my career in mixed practice.
Fast forward 44 years... & I'm the owner of my own Practice taking care of both small animals and horses!
It's the one thing I thought I'd never do when I started!
The journey has been amazing...
And the moral of the story is that you never know what you might love if you close your door on opportunities!
So, we have an opportunity for you.

Why are we looking for a new vet?

Our fabulous vet Dr Ellie is leaving us to be closer to family interstate.
She joined us to immerse herself in a full mixed practice experience. Both our clients and the team are going to miss her!

Now, we could tell you how amazing we are to work with (just like EVERY other clinic) but here is what Dr Ellie has said about her time with us...

"My time at HoofnPaws has been a fulfilling experience. The best thing about the clinic is the team that you work with. Not only are you able to bounce off ideas on cases with the other vets, but to be able to offer alternative therapy (acupuncture and traditional medicine) allows you to service a wider range of clients whilst putting patient care first. The reception and nursing team are also highly experienced and make your job as a vet enjoyable and easy. There is a great family feel and our clients appreciate us, from the moment they walk in the door, or from their very first phone call with the team.
Being a mixed practice, not one day is the same. It is a great clinic to further develop your interests in equine dentistry, but you're also able to dip your toes in goat and sheep medicine if this is what you desire. The variety of surgery, and medicine workups also keep things interesting.
If you are looking for a place that genuinely cares, puts teamwork, support, and patient care first, HoofnPaws will be the right clinic for you. "

This will be the job for you if:

You will love working with us because:

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience. A salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 depending on skill set. If you are passionate about veterinary medicine and are ready for a new step in your career, HoofnPaws is the place for you.

Please click here to see photos! photos

Something a little different for you is our focus on integrative medicine (think Acupuncture etc.) and how we use these modalities to compliment western medicine practices.

What's the next step?

If this is something that sounds attractive, then let's have a chat.

You can contact me on 0428 369 670 to organise a time, or email at drdave@hoofnpaws.com.au

I look forward to hearing from you!
