Companion Animal Nurse – Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Companion Animal Nurse to work in our small animal hospital in the idyllic beachside town of Whangamata in the Coromandel.

You will work alongside three other nurses and three vets, to provide the excellent standard of care for which we are known.

A recently completed extension to the clinic, and a near-completed renovation to our staff break/kitchen areas means you will be working in a modern, comfortable environment. Our facilities and equipment are modern, and we provide a wide range of services to our clients, despite our semi-rural location.

We pride ourselves on taking care of our team and paying above industry average.

Our full-time nurses complete their hours over a four-day work week, so that you will have three days per week off to enjoy a healthy work-life balance. Our area is renowned for its beautiful Coromandel beaches, host to outdoor activities and a busy café and food scene.

Whangamata is located within easy driving distance to Tauranga (1h15min), Hamilton (1h40min) and Auckland (2h).

The ideal candidate will have nursing experience (>3 years), though a new/recent graduate with the right attitude, initiative and willingness to learn will also be considered. A recognised nursing qualification is a must, as we are working toward BestPractice Accreditation.

The successful applicant will need to base themselves in or around Whangamata.

If you are interested in the role, please send an email, along with your CV and references to: brandy@corovets.co.nz

Applications will be considered until the successful candidate has been found.
