Beaudesert is a small town nestled in rolling hills, located on the Mount Lindesay Highway, some 91 km south of Brisbane, Queensland.
The area sources its income predominantly from rural activities such as cropping, grazing and equine activities, as well as tourism. It boasts a racecourse, 50-metre swimming pool, public library, two gyms, schools and mountain scenery.
The town was settled in 1847 and has grown to a small, bustling centre. The National Parks that have been developed not far from Beaudesert are spectacular.
