Rouse Hill is a suburb of Sydney, in NSW, located 42 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD.

Sydney’s Hills district is located within the north west urban area of Greater Sydney stretching from just north of Parramatta 30 minutes from Sydney CBD, to Wisemans Ferry on the Hawkesbury River about 90 minutes from Sydney CBD. It varies dramatically from native bush and busy suburban towns to rural landscapes and tiny villages.

It is easily accessed from all adjacent regions by road, with new high-capacity motorways now operating through the key suburbs, and regular rail services.
The intersection known as Baulkham Hills Junction is the junction of several major roads: Seven Hills Road, Old Northern Road and Windsor Road. The fastest route from the Sydney CBD is via the M2 motorway.
