The Tweed Coast is one of the largest growth areas on the east coast of Australia. The town of Murwillumbah is expanding, which is providing more opportunities in all areas of life.

There is a brand new multi million dollar Education Campus in Stage 3 of planning right in town, as well as enough private and independent small schools to meet children's needs.
We have one of the best Skateboard Parks around! Not to mention Hockey, Netball, Rugby, AFL, cricket, tennis, lawn bowls and Croquet facilities. Don't forget the bike riding clubs and the development of the community Rail Trail (cyclists and pedestrians) connecting Murwillumbah to eventually Byron Bay. Our Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre in town, has produced Olympic level Triathletes, and covers everything from squad training, to a rehabilitation pool, diving pools and an awesome mountain-side waterslide for the kids and big kids alike. The Rowing Club also has the Tweed River at it's doorstep.
Murwillumbah is also home to the Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre, and an exciting Art Presinct in the centre of town; M-Art. Our quaint Art- Deco cinema shows independent and commercial flicks, and our growing diverse number of restaurants and cafes will satisfy any culinary critique and coffee addict. The town has a yearly Show and Banana festival, Foody Fest street food nights, there are wonderful B&Bs, watering holes, quaint satellite villages dotted throughout the Caldera and Fresh Farmers Markets every Wednesday selling local produce.

We are a gateway to some beautiful country just minutes down the road, whilst connected to the hub of the east coast, with quick access to the beautiful beaches of Kirra, Cabarita, Lennox Head and Byron. It also makes the area accessible to any specialist facility required via the M1. The Gold Coast Airport is just 25 minutes away.
