We’re looking for an experienced and confident Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team on a maternity leave cover contract from August 2025. If you have 4–5 years of small animal experience and enjoy working in a supportive, high-standard environment — we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:
- Leading consultations and medical workups.
- Performing routine and some advanced surgeries.
- Mentoring our junior vets and nursing staff.
- Delivering excellent client communication and case continuity.
- Working independently and contributing to clinical decisions.
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care for small animal patients (dogs, cats, and small mammals).
- Perform routine exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate treatment plans with pet owners.
- Work closely with the team to provide exceptional patient care and client service.
- Participate in on-call shifts for after-hours emergencies and weekend coverage.
- Contribute to the practice's growth through client education and outreach.
- This is a fixed-term position covering 6-12 months, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
You’ll Bring:
- Eligible to be registered as a veterinarian in WA.
- Experience with routine surgeries, diagnostics, and emergency care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and staff.
- A proactive, team-focused approach.
- Ability to handle sole charge when required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases.
- Willingness to participate in on-call shifts as part of the schedule.
