We experience a wide and varied case load of all things small animals, with all the usual pieces of equipment you would see in a clinic; digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, in house laboratory and orthopaedic equipment. Riverport also has a resident diagnostic imaging vet who help upskill the team.
Vet First Riverport Veterinary Hospital is a smaller clinic slightly outside of Victor Harbour, it has a great connection to the town, purpose built with a modern design. Overall, it’s a great place to be a vet. It will be a mix of routine and non-routine consults with some surgery as well.
What shifts we require
We are currently looking for a permanent vet in the Victor Harbour area, but in the meantime we have a locum block from 22nd of September through to December and our locum blocks can be as short as 7 days, or as long as a few months.
Shift times are;
- Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Option to help out on a Saturday if wanted
- It will be a mix of consults and surgery, and some sole charge
We have some flexibility with the days and time you work, and we do offer accommodation allowances, but to qualify you will need to do a block for at least a week, and close to full time hours.
