McLaren Vale Veterinary Surgery is looking for a vet to join our friendly and supportive team for a 6-month role, covering one of our fantastic vets while she’s on maternity leave. This position can be full-time or part-time — we’re happy to work around your availability. The role is set to begin in early August.
We provide high-quality veterinary care to the McLaren Vale region and surrounding areas (see www.mclarenvaleandfleurieucoast.com.au), with a strong focus on both medicine and surgery. We’re proud of our purpose-built clinic, which is spacious and designed to ensure both staff and patients feel at ease.
Our clinic is fully equipped to support you in delivering exceptional care, including:
- A complete IM3 dental suite with DR intraoral radiography and an intraoral camera
- A dedicated surgical theatre with patient warming, full monitoring equipment, and orthopaedic gear for fracture repairs, TPLOs, MPLs and more
- Electrosurgery including Ligasure
- Endoscope and video otoscopes for advanced diagnostics
- A full in-house pathology suite: Vetscan haematology, biochemistry, Imagyst cytology, MiniVidas, and VCheck
- Tonovet for intraocular pressure monitoring
- Separate dog and cat wards for reduced stress
