We’re Fetch – a startup helping Aussies master modern pet parenting with the cutest pet insurance around. We’ve built Fetch from scratch, covering everything from policies to claims and apps for pet parents, vets, and even our customer care team! But we’re just getting started. We’ve got customers to help, bugs to squash, and loads of exciting new features to build. Think faster (direct!) claims, deeper connections within the pet ecosystem, and even more amazing experiences for customers, vets, partners, and their pets.

Your new team

We’re a passionate mix of pet lovers, tech experts, vet professionals, and insurance gurus (don’t worry, no suits allowed). Our day job? Supporting customers and their pets while juggling a ton of side projects to make Fetch the best thing since digital x-rays. It’s a startup, so expect to muck in – sometimes staying late or getting involved at weekends – but it’s ours, and we want it to be brilliant.

Your role

We’re looking for qualified veterinary surgeons who’re looking to flex their technical medical expertise to help with our pre-existing assessments. Initially the position is a 3-6 month contract, with a possibility of a permanent role in the future as we continue to grow.

🦴 Customer Support: Assist with onboarding through pre-existing checks, review clinical histories to look for any issues that might impact plan cover

💬 Communication: Engage directly with vets and pet parents, explaining decisions, supporting through reviews and ensuring records are complete

🤖 AI Development: Your feedback will help to refine AI tools that streamline our operations and make our customers’ lives easier.

🐾 Team Support: Provide guidance to our vet nurses and help elevate customer experience
