Birkdale Veterinary Clinic - Small Animal Locum/Casual Vet Required – Birkdale, Qld

We're a busy, privately owned clinic with a great team of vets and nurses and a varied case load looking for an experienced casual/locum vet to work the following shifts from 9 June to 30 August 2025 (flexible) with potential for ongoing casual shifts:

Monday:     9am-1pm
Tuesday:     9am-1pm
Wednesday:    10.30am-6.30pm
Thursday:     8am-1pm
+ alternate Saturdays: 8.30am-1pm

Note: Monday, Tuesday or Thursday shift can be dropped – we're flexible!

Mixture of consulting and surgery but surgery not required (consulting-only vets are very welcome!). No after hours or on call work.

We're a well-equipped clinic with 2 consult rooms, a surgery room equipped to cater for advanced procedures with extensive anaesthetic monitoring equipment, electro-surgical generator unit, a wet procedures area with a second anaesthetic machine, iM3 dental unit, ultrasound, digital radiology (including dental radiology), separate dog and cat wards, an extensive pharmacy, IDEXX in-house blood pathology and a range of other in-house diagnostic equipment. Our practice management software is VisionVPM.
