Stunning beachside locations between Sydney and Wollongong close to the Royal National Park. Wonderful part of the world. I came here for a 3 month locum 20 years ago and never wanted to leave!

Mostly small animal, occasionally other species.

One of our vets is retiring after many years with us and another vet has a baby on the way, so we are in need of a new bright, enthusiastic vet to join our team.

Pay to $85/hr ($170,000/annum) depending on experience.
3 to 5 days per week as suits the applicant. We are very flexible, can be part time, full time, casual or even just maternity leave cover.
Maternity leave would be from June for 6 to 12 months negotiable
Greater surgical experience would be an advantage.
Sponsorship for overseas applicants can be organised.

Austinmer Vet Hospital is situated in a beautiful coastal setting of the Illawarra region a scenic 40 minute drive South of Sydney. 200m to beautiful Austinmer Beach. Train station opposite (1hr to Sydney) and bus stop. There may be a small flat available if you'd prefer to stay locally.

Helensburgh Vet Clinic is just south of the Royal National Park on the Southern edge of Sydney. Close to amazing Stanwell Park. There are dog friendly beaches, cafes and shops close to both locations.

We have a brilliant fun loving team of 8 vets and 18 experienced support staff.

Both the clinics are equipped with Vision management software, ultrasound, in-house Heska pathology, EPOCHs, GA monitoring ETCO2 etc and digital radiography.
