Koh Mak Animal Clinic, Thailand
About Us:
Koh Mak Animal Clinic is a low-volume, small animal clinic providing free access to veterinary care to ~800 island animals. We maintain 4 sectors of care: Sterilization, Emergency, Maintenance, and Prevention. We have been providing this care since 2017 and have a sterilization rate of ~92%. We have limited diagnostics. KMAC is not a "shelter" though we do have 9 long-term adult foster dogs and occasionally provide foster + socialization of pups for domestic adoption. We do NOT accept students and do NOT provide educational opportunities.
Koh Mak is a small, 16sq. km developed island with 500 Thai, Khmer, & Mon residents. You can expect paved roads, streetlights, speedboats, and a seasonal, middle-class, european tourist destination.

In 2019, a lovely short film was made to show our work and recruit for long-stays. The opportunity it talks about is filled and the facility pictured is our previous facility. However, we will still share it here as the island images are consistent .
