The Team

Family run business lead by Dr Ashlee (Memberships in Small animal medicine and fountain of all knowledge) and Dr Geoff Wilson (crazy adventurer and phenomenal vet extraordinaire - we dare you to google him) along with Dr Kirra, Dr Kirsten, Dr Amanda and Dr Ainsley we have awesome Nurses and Receptionists even down to our cool kennel hands, it is an honour to work alongside these legends!

What we can do for you

We know you work hard, so we also want to give you the time off to spend with family/friends/pets/hobbies whatever interests you! Be aware you might have some newfound friends who would like to tag along though! You only want to be in a clinic with great values and ethics with the patient’s best interest at heart; the good old saying “treat every pet as if they were your own” is true within VetLove. Days are never boring! Practical jokes, coffee, chocolate and a great team environment makes every day a pleasure, sure we get stressed and have our off days (who doesn’t) but as a rule we club together and smash the day out as a team. We set aside money to help you with your skills and education, you want to learn more? We can assist you, we can even source courses for you. Support, collaboration, and team spirit is not only with the individual clinic but across the VetLove team. Known for our culture, the VetLove team are also a great group to be around. We might not have all the processes in place, but we certainly have the culture, we love what we do and enjoy getting out of bed each day to go to work! The boring bit…

In an ideal world the successful applicant will have:

Previous experience in a Veterinary nurse role..
Minimum 2 years’ experience
Extensive knowledge in Veterinary nurse daily procedures
Shows initiative and work as a team.
Knowledge and experience in avian and exotics would be great but not essential.
