Mixed Practice Position Maternity Leave Cover – (minimum 6 months) Central Victoria
Exciting opportunity for mixed practice Veterinarian , located in the picturesque Macedon Ranges at Kyneton in Central Victoria, to join an 11 vet/13 support staff practice in a well-serviced sub-regional centre, less than one hour by road or rail from Melbourne and Bendigo, and by road from Ballarat.

Our long-established family owned, run and focused practice is looking for one mixed practice veterinarian part-time) 2 days per week with one night on call and one weekend in 6 for a minimum of 6 months to add to our close-knit team commencing mid July 2025 to fill a maternity leave vacancy.
We have been in our brand new purpose built clinic since August, which is well-equipped.
We have a great client base and practice high standards of care, consistent with the needs and capacity of clients.

We have a full in-house IDEXX laboratory suite , with internal and external referral support readily available as needed.
We are proud to provide a supportive environment for all staff, especially for new graduates. Our workforce is very stable with extremely low turnover of vets and our high quality support staff. A pre-planned support programme is ready for new graduates while they settle in.
Duties are rotated amongst staff to give all vets opportunities to develop their interests. Rosters are adjusted to maximise consecutive days off and to suit the individual as far as possible. We have a family friendly culture and approach.
Salary is paid per hour (rate depending on experience) with generous after-hours profit-sharing scheme. Current afterhours ratio 1:6, future 1:7 or better.
