Reading is a large town on the Thames and Kennet rivers in southern England. It’s known for the annual Reading Festival, an outdoor rock music event. Shops and riverside restaurants dot the town centre. Just minutes from any of the centres of towns like Maidenhead, Windsor and Reading, Berkshire, are an array of villages. The rural areas of Berkshire are a matter of miles from the urban areas - but life is completely different.
Beenham is a small rural parish midway between Newbury and Reading. Most of the houses here enjoy views over the rolling farmland of the North Wessex Downs, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
