Sussex Inlet, in Shoalhaven, is about 50km south east of Nowra and is situated on the southern side of the beautiful waterways at the neck of St Georges Basin. The town itself seems surrounded by water and is sometimes referred to as an island getaway. Watersports are the most popular pastimes in the area with fishing being the most famous. Tourism is a major source of income in the area.
