Caloundra is the southernmost community on the Sunshine Coast and is 74km north of Brisbane.
When you holiday in Caloundra, the laid-back atmosphere and the playful sounds of your family enjoying the sunshine will echo in your memory forever. The stunning coastal paths and well-maintained boardwalks allow daily life to unfold in a haze of sand, scooter-happy trails, grassy picnic spots and family football or cricket matches. And it all takes place to the constant soundtrack of surf in the background.
Take in the unique scenery of the Caloundra to Kawana stretch by walking or riding along this 25-kilometre path featuring headland cliffs, historic sites, nature reserves and an esplanade of shopping and dining. The continuous pathway connects Golden Beach in the south to Kawana in the north, passing by the calm waters of the Pumicestone Passage, the heritage-listed Kings Beach Bathing Pavilion and remnant coastal rainforest at Dicky Beach.
